GCC SERVICES
ADVOCACY
The GCC keeps policymakers and regulatory agencies informed about issues affecting the business of chemistry. The GAChemPAC (GCC's Political Action Committee) is an invaluable tool in our advocacy.
COMMUNICATION
GCC provides essential and timely information to the industry through a variety of formats:
- CapitolTracks is an e-newsletter published bi-weekly during the legislative session informing members of Capitol activities
- www.georgiachemistry.com provides an online archive of valuable information and details on upcoming events and meetings
- Legislative Action Alerts offer the opportunity for members to engage in direct communication with their elected officials regarding important issues
NETWORKING
The GCC brings the industry together to share best management practices and gather valuable ideas, both of which are key to being responsive to the industry's needs. Quarterly business meetings and the Annual Meeting create a casual environment in which industry colleagues may informally network.
EDUCATION
GCC partners with state agencies and universities allowing members to become more educated on health, safety, and environmental issues. Recognized experts present regularly at GCC meetings.
